Karen Foster Design makes preserving proud memories of your military family quite effortless. You can simply peel their products from the packaging and stick them on your layout making it look like you spent hours fussing and layering a variety of unique materials, when, in fact, you put forth very little effort at all. This is surely the type of layout that can find a happy placed tucked nicely in a scrapbook, but it’s also detailed enough to rest within a shadow box displayed next to that of a folded flag of a fallen soldier honoring their life and service to our country.

2. Adhere, centered, on the Black cardstock

3. Adhere 5” x 7” photo to white cardstock to create a ¼” mat around the perimeter of the photo.

4. Adhere photo to the American Bravery paper leaving approximately 1 ¼” of patterned paper showing along the bottom and right edges.

5. Remove Proud to Serve Stacked Statement from protective backing and add to top of photo, slightly overlapping the photo.

6. Add emblem sticker from A Legacy of Honor Sticker Sheet over the lower left corner of the photo to cover the emblem pre-printed on the patterned paper.

7. Add “stars and stripes forever” sticker from A Legacy of Honor sticker sheet, slightly overlapping the lower right corner of the photo.

8. Embellish the lower corner of the “stars and stripes forever” sticker with two silver brads from the Mineral Crazy Coil Brads package.

12. Slightly lift the points of the Birchtone Dark stars to give a little dimension to them.

13. Embellish the center of these stars (from left to right) with red, white, and blue rhinestones from the birthstone brad embellishment packs. Poke your paper piercing tool through the center of the stars first to allow the brads to go through the paper easier.

14. Next to each star adhere small star stickers from A Legacy of Honor sticker sheet. Embellish a few of the star stickers with coordinating brads from the Mineral Crazy Coil Brads package.

15. Adhere ribbon sticker from A Legacy of Honor just above the “stars and stripes forever” sticker.

16. If there is blank space on your photo, adhere “USA” banner on top of photo.

That’s it! We hope you have a great time making your layout!
